Up at 6am to go to Canberra. Kieran picked us and took to the airport to pick up a hire car. Had breakfast then set off.
Got onto the Hume Freeway at 9am.
Stopped at Holbrook for coffee and food then onto Gungadai – Bullocky Bill’s and The Dog on the Tuckerbox.

Arrived in Canberra early so we went to our hotel – an apartment again - “Abode”. No-one to check us in – there is an automated system, but this was not working - the keys were on the desk, but we had to ring security to find out the room number. Anyway, once sorted out it was all fine. Very similar to our Quest Kew apartment with added extras – a dishwasher in a drawer (!) and a washer/dryer in the bathroom.
Had a wee relax for an hour or so, and headed off to the family about 6.30pm.

Kids went to bed about 8-ish and we had homemade lasagne. We went home to bed about 10pm, tired out with travelling.
